Benefits of kung fu:
Physical fitness: Kung fu is a full-body activity that can improve your stamina, energy, strength, cardiovascular endurance, balance, coordination, agility, speed and flexibility.
Emotional well-being: kung fu is a great way to get a workout that helps stabilize our emotions and prevent depression and anxiety.
Confidence: kung fu builds confidence in your physical abilities and that in turn affects all aspects of your life. You will see improvement in school, work, social skills, relationships, etc.
Discipline: You will learn to discipline your physical movements and thereby gain control not only of your physical body, but mentally as well. You will have more control over your eating and sleeping habits and be able to use discipline to reach your goals.
Fun: We incorporate fun into all of our classes through drills that reinforce what we are learning in class. We also offer a sparring class that all of my students are welcome to attend.
Self Defense: Si fu Jason is trained in kung fu (Hung Gar, Wing Chun, Tai chi), Karate, Kali, and Kajukenbo and has 20 years of experience. He uses this knowledge and experience to teach the practical application of self-defense (When to defend yourself and when to practice self-control)
